New freshmen check in on Monday, July 27, from 7:30 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. at Baldwin Foyer, followed by Mass, lunch, and a welcome cookout for families. An airport shuttle from Salt Lake City leaves Sunday, July 26 at 5 p.m. for early arrivals, and every new student is expected on campus no later than Tuesday afternoon. The 21-day Freshman Expedition begins after all freshmen start the Wilderness First Aid course on Wednesday, July 29.

Move-in day logistics

- Check-in is Monday, July 27, between 7:30 a.m. and 1:45 p.m. An airport shuttle from Salt Lake City leaves Sunday, July 26 at 5 p.m. for early arrivals, and every new student is expected on campus no later than Tuesday afternoon.

- You meet staff, submit paperwork, and take a campus tour, then join Mass, lunch, and a welcome cookout. All freshmen begin the Wilderness First Aid course on Wednesday, July 29, before the 21-day Freshman Expedition.
Move-in day tips
- Arrive during your assigned move-in window - arriving early may mean waiting until your time slot.
- Bring a rolling cart or hand truck - campus carts can run out quickly during busy move-in periods.
- Have a parking backup plan - spaces near residence halls can fill up quickly, so know where you can unload if your preferred area is full.
- Watch the loading-zone time limit - many campuses require you to move your vehicle to longer-term parking after unloading.
