Fall 2026 Move-In Details
Before you move in, you must have your mobile Wildcard set up, which grants access to your building and room. Bring a photo ID and your W# to get your keys at check-in, then drive to your assigned building to unload. Required early arrival applies to those participating in Experience Weber, athletic teams, marching band, campus student employees, and international student orientation.

Move-in day logistics
- Arrival window
- Move-in weekend is Saturday, August 21, starting at 9 a.m. Staff are available until 5 p.m., though students arriving later can call the after-hours number posted on the check-in door.
- Check-in location
- Wildcat Village residents check in on the 3rd floor of Stewart Wasatch Hall; University Village residents check in at the Community Center. Follow signage to the check-in tables for your assigned village.
- Parking
- Wait to unload your belongings until after you've received your keys at check-in, then drive to your assigned building to move in.
- What you'll receive
- Your keys and access are tied to your mobile Wildcard, so it must be fully set up before you arrive - present it along with your W# at check-in.
- Vehicle restrictions
- Pets are prohibited in the residence halls (service animals require Disability Services approval), and space is limited, so pack light.
Move-in day tips
- Arrive during your assigned move-in window - arriving early may mean waiting until your time slot.
- Bring a rolling cart or hand truck - campus carts can run out quickly during busy move-in periods.
- Have a parking backup plan - spaces near residence halls can fill up quickly, so know where you can unload if your preferred area is full.
