Fall 2026 Move-In Details
Designated move-in dates and an early/late arrival form link will be sent to student emails in July. Students requesting to move in prior to their designated date will be charged a $25/day fee unless moving in early for a required university reason (Athletics, GEWW Crew, on-campus job, etc.). Returning residents, transfer students not in GEWW, and new upperclassmen move in on the separate date of August 21, 2026. Students participating in CPC sorority formal recruitment move in earlier than the general freshman population.
Check your assignment in the housing portal for your specific date and time - your exact move-in date is shown above in the Overview.

- Bring a rolling cart or hand truck - campus carts can run out quickly during busy move-in periods.
- Have a parking backup plan - spaces near residence halls can fill up quickly, so know where you can unload if your preferred area is full.
- Watch the loading-zone time limit - many campuses require you to move your vehicle to longer-term parking after unloading.
