Volunteers in bright yellow "Welcome to USM" shirts guide vehicles to your assigned residence hall on move-in day. Bring your own microwave only if not using the provided University-owned Microfridge unit, since Gorham campus policy prohibits additional microwaves and refrigerators beyond what's supplied.

- New students are assigned a specific arrival date and time through the housing portal, communicated ahead of move-in.

- Your assigned residence hall - the Office of Residential Life's Gorham campus office is in Upton Hall for general questions.
- Parking
- Under no circumstances are vehicles allowed to be driven on any of the walkways; contact Parking Services ahead of move-in for permit information.
- What you'll receive
- Your room comes furnished with a bed, desk, bureau, desk chair, and closet, plus one University-owned Microfridge unit per room.
- Vehicle restrictions
- Vehicles are not allowed on campus walkways under any circumstances; additional microwaves and refrigerators beyond the provided Microfridge unit are prohibited in Gorham campus rooms.
