Fall 2026 Move-In Details
Choose your move-in slot in advance through the dedicated Move-In website, updated each June with current-year details. Check-in for on-campus housing and university-owned apartments happens at Baum-Walker Stadium's third base concourse, where you'll also receive two parking passes. Freshmen are required to live on campus, with some exceptions. Students moving into the Marshall or Locale apartments check in directly at their buildings instead. Color-coded hangtags must be displayed clearly on your vehicle's mirror or dashboard to access designated unloading zones.

Move-in day logistics
- Arrival window
- After arriving at your residence hall lot, you'll have 30 minutes to unload.
- Check-in location
- Baum-Walker Stadium's third base concourse - all residential students begin their move-in journey here before heading to their residence hall.
- Parking
- Following unloading, students are directed to park in Lots 320, 321, or 322 - reserved resident permit holders can begin parking in move-in lots starting at 3 p.m. Parents can use the upper levels of the Garland or Harmon parking garages, and shuttles run starting at 7:30 a.m. daily.
- What you'll receive
- Your room keys, final instructions, and two parking passes (one for you, one for a parent) at check-in.
- Vehicle restrictions
- U-Hauls and trailers are not allowed in residence hall lots.
Move-in day tips
- Arrive during your assigned move-in window - arriving early may mean waiting until your time slot.
- Bring a rolling cart or hand truck - campus carts can run out quickly during busy move-in periods.
- Have a parking backup plan - spaces near residence halls can fill up quickly, so know where you can unload if your preferred area is full.
- Watch the loading-zone time limit - many campuses require you to move your vehicle to longer-term parking after unloading.
