University of Alaska Anchorage shares its campus library, the UAA/APU Consortium Library, with neighboring Alaska Pacific University - a 1973 building housing the furthest north permanent Foucault pendulum in North America - with new Seawolves moving into North, East, and West Halls each August.

Once room assignments are finalized, you'll receive an email when your assignment is ready to view on your Housing Page on UAOnline, which also lists your roommates and their emails. Your Wolfcard serves as your room key, given to you along with a PIN number at check-in. North, East, and West Halls each have a limited loading and unloading area in front - unload as quickly as possible, then park in one of the surrounding lots (Spruce, Birch, or Willow) rather than blocking the zone for others. This specific date should be confirmed directly with UAA Residence Life closer to move-in.

Move-in day logistics
- Arrival window
- Check-in runs Thursday-Sunday of the week before classes start, typically 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Thursday and Friday, noon-4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday - confirm your exact Fall 2026 dates with UAA Residence Life closer to move-in.
- Check-in location
- Check in at your assigned hall (North, East, or West Hall) to pick up your Wolfcard and PIN, which serve as your room key.
- Parking
- Each hall has a limited loading/unloading area in front - unload as quickly as possible, then move your vehicle to one of the surrounding Spruce, Birch, or Willow lots rather than blocking the zone for others.

Move-in day tips

- Bring a rolling cart or hand truck - campus carts can run out quickly during busy move-in periods.
- Have a parking backup plan - spaces near residence halls can fill up quickly, so know where you can unload if your preferred area is full.
- Watch the loading-zone time limit - many campuses require you to move your vehicle to longer-term parking after unloading.
