Universidad del Sagrado Corazón, tracing to a Sacred Heart elementary school founded by three nuns in 1880 and reaching university status in 1935, sits on the former Santurce estate of Pablo Ubarri, whose donated house and land brought the religious order to Puerto Rico, with new Dolphins moving into residence halls each August under the guidance of the university's own "Delfy Hotline" student support program.

Fall 2026 Move-In Details
The Delfy Hotline, named for the university's own dolphin mascot, offers pre-arrival support for incoming students - check Sagrado's own freshman resources for specific hotline dates and topics. Every enrolled student is assigned an Academic Advisor to help guide them through each stage of university life. Sagrado's own campus is primarily a commuter school, so most students live off campus or at home; on-campus housing is available but limited.
Check your assignment in the housing portal for your specific date and time - your exact move-in date is shown above in the Overview.
Move-in day logistics
- Arrival window
- Confirmed housing residents are notified by institutional email once their application is approved.
- Check-in location
- Confirmed residents receive check-in details directly once their housing application and contract are finalized.
Move-in day tips
- Arrive during your assigned move-in window - arriving early may mean waiting until your time slot.
- Bring a rolling cart or hand truck - campus carts can run out quickly during busy move-in periods.
- Have a parking backup plan - spaces near residence halls can fill up quickly, so know where you can unload if your preferred area is full.
- Watch the loading-zone time limit - many campuses require you to move your vehicle to longer-term parking after unloading.
