Residents can establish a network connection for high-speed internet upon checking in to their residence hall. Campus parking lots surrounding the residence halls require a Housing-specific permit, available only to residents. Bike permits are free but required, and bikes are not permitted inside residence halls at any time. Laundry rooms with coin and/or T-card operated machines are located in each hall, so be sure to load T-Bird Bucks onto your T-card at the Cashier's Office.

Move-in day logistics
- Arrival window
- Move-in day is Saturday, August 29, 2026, 8am-6pm. Late arrivals are accepted through September 1, though expect delays and longer lines outside the main move-in day.
- Check-in location
- Go to your assigned building to check in with your RA. Late arrivals (Aug 30-Sept 1) should go to the Eccles A Lobby/Housing Office instead.
- Parking
- Lots surrounding the residence halls are reserved exclusively for University Housing residents and require a Housing permit - check Parking Services' website for current pricing.
- What you'll receive
- Access to high-speed internet in your residence hall once checked in, plus your furnished room - see the packing checklist online for what's already provided.
- Vehicle restrictions
- Only residents may purchase permits to park in Housing lots. Bicycles are prohibited inside residence halls, but free bike permits are available through Parking Services for outdoor storage.
Move-in day tips
- Arrive during your assigned move-in window - arriving early may mean waiting until your time slot.
- Bring a rolling cart or hand truck - campus carts can run out quickly during busy move-in periods.
- Have a parking backup plan - spaces near residence halls can fill up quickly, so know where you can unload if your preferred area is full.
- Watch the loading-zone time limit - many campuses require you to move your vehicle to longer-term parking after unloading.
