Log into the Good Living Portal to view your specific move-in appointment and confirm your roommate connection. All traditionally-aged students are required to live on campus unless approved for an exception. New Student Convocation follows shortly after move-in.

Move-in day logistics
- Arrival window
- Wednesday, August 20, 2026, during a staggered time window assigned by your floor location - confirm your specific window via the Good Living Portal.
- Check-in location
- Your assigned residence hall's own check-in station (Boteler, Printz, Miller, Potomac Place, Shaw, or Thacher Hall, depending on housing assignment).
- Parking
- Once fully unloaded, move your car to H-Lot for extended parking.
- What you'll receive
- Your Rambler (student ID) is checked and updated at your hall's check-in station.
Move-in day tips
- Arrive during your assigned move-in window - arriving early may mean waiting until your time slot.
- Bring a rolling cart or hand truck - campus carts can run out quickly during busy move-in periods.
- Have a parking backup plan - spaces near residence halls can fill up quickly, so know where you can unload if your preferred area is full.
- Watch the loading-zone time limit - many campuses require you to move your vehicle to longer-term parking after unloading.
