Fall 2026 Move-In Details
Your move-in time depends on which orientation you attend: August orientation students move in Tuesday, August 25 from 1 to 3 p.m., and June orientation students move in Thursday, August 27 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. (last names A-L 9-11 a.m., M-Z 11 a.m.-1 p.m.). Transfer students who didn't move in earlier can move in Saturday, August 29, 9 a.m. to noon. Secure your spot by submitting your non-refundable enrollment deposit of $650 (covering both tuition and housing) by May 1, or within two weeks of acceptance, whichever is later - campus housing is required for first-year students. You'll receive your official Saint Mary's login information via email about a week after submitting your deposit, needed to apply for housing and complete medical requirements ahead of move-in.

- Transfer students moving in on August 29 meet at the long parking lot near Ageno Hall.
- Parking
- Early move-in requests open on the housing portal on August 5, but requests before August 28 can't be approved.
- What you'll receive
- Rooms include an extra-long twin bed, desk, desk chair, dresser, armoire or closet, and a sink. The packing list also has a what-not-to-bring checklist.
Move-in day tips
- Arrive during your assigned move-in window - arriving early may mean waiting until your time slot.
- Bring a rolling cart or hand truck - campus carts can run out quickly during busy move-in periods.
- Have a parking backup plan - spaces near residence halls can fill up quickly, so know where you can unload if your preferred area is full.
- Watch the loading-zone time limit - many campuses require you to move your vehicle to longer-term parking after unloading.
