Fall 2026 Move-In Details
You'll be assigned a specific two-hour check-in time block along with your fall 2026 housing assignment between July 10-15 - your residence hall and floor determine your window. The two-hour block covers check-in specifically, not the full move-in process, so families are welcome to stay and help longer once checked in. Oriflamme (Fall Orientation Leaders) will be on hand to help with move-in and guide new students through Fall Welcome.

Move-in day logistics
- Arrival window
- New student move-in is Thursday, August 14, 2026, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Your specific two-hour time block (by hall and floor) is assigned with your housing assignment between July 10-15.
- Check-in location
- Go directly to your assigned residence hall during your designated time slot - each hall follows its own floor-by-floor schedule.
- Parking
- Bring your printed parking pass and place it on your dashboard during move-in - passes are specific to your residence hall. After unloading, relocate your vehicle to a designated area to make room for other arriving families.
- What you'll receive
- Label all your items with your name, hall, and room number ahead of time to speed up check-in.
Move-in day tips
- Arrive during your assigned move-in window - arriving early may mean waiting until your time slot.
- Bring a rolling cart or hand truck - campus carts can run out quickly during busy move-in periods.
- Have a parking backup plan - spaces near residence halls can fill up quickly, so know where you can unload if your preferred area is full.
- Watch the loading-zone time limit - many campuses require you to move your vehicle to longer-term parking after unloading.
