New students move in on August 20, the day Welcome Week begins; classes start August 24. Submit your $300 enrollment deposit as early as possible - class selection and housing placement are offered on a first-come, first-served basis based on deposit date, not admission date. Once assigned to your hall, you can use the "Roommate Search" feature on the housing portal to connect with future roommates.

- New-student residence halls open August 20, the first day of Welcome Week.
- Check-in location
- Watch your MyPBA account and Residence Life emails for your hall's check-in location.
- Parking
- Confirm unloading and parking with Residence Life, especially for Coastal Towers and the off-campus Auxiliary Housing apartments.
- What you'll receive
- A room in one of PBA's residence facilities (Baxter, Johnson, Weyenberg, Oceanview, Rinker, Pembroke, Watson, Coastal Towers or Auxiliary Housing), with types ranging from traditional and suite-style rooms to apartments with kitchens. What is furnished varies by building, so confirm before you shop. Meal plans are managed through Sailfish Dining.
Move-in day tips
- Arrive during your assigned move-in window - arriving early may mean waiting until your time slot.
- Bring a rolling cart or hand truck - campus carts can run out quickly during busy move-in periods.
- Have a parking backup plan - spaces near residence halls can fill up quickly, so know where you can unload if your preferred area is full.
- Watch the loading-zone time limit - many campuses require you to move your vehicle to longer-term parking after unloading.
