Move-In

Fall 2026 Move-In Details

By appointment only - one-hour check-in slots between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., booked through MyPack Portal. Tri-Towers (Bowen, Metcalf, Carroll) residents check in at the Coliseum Deck specifically. Early arrival requests (limited to Aug. 11-12) can be submitted for review if you need to arrive before Aug. 13. If you don't already have your university-issued ID, visit the Wolfpack One Card Office in Talley Student Union after unloading.

Check your assignment in the housing portal for your specific date and time - your exact move-in date is shown above in the Overview.

Move-in day logistics

Check-in location
Tri-Towers (Bowen, Metcalf, Carroll) residents check in at the Coliseum Deck, where staff and volunteers load belongings onto a luggage train, transport them to the assigned building, and unload them for you to take to your room.
Parking
As soon as your vehicle is unloaded, relocate it to long-term parking - follow the directions provided (rather than GPS) for your assigned residence hall, since traffic patterns are adjusted on move-in days.
What you'll receive
Your room or apartment key(s) at your designated building location, picked up simultaneously as you relocate your vehicle to long-term parking.

Move-in day tips

  • Arrive during your assigned move-in window - arriving early may mean waiting until your time slot.
  • Bring a rolling cart or hand truck - campus carts can run out quickly during busy move-in periods.
  • Have a parking backup plan - spaces near residence halls can fill up quickly, so know where you can unload if your preferred area is full.
  • Watch the loading-zone time limit - many campuses require you to move your vehicle to longer-term parking after unloading.
