Fall 2026 Move-In Details
Students traveling more than 300 miles to campus may check in early, between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. on Tuesday, August 18, 2026. Greek students will be on hand to help you unload and carry things to your room. Your student account must be paid in full or have an approved payment plan in place before move-in, and fall semester bills are due by August 4. All move-in check-in for new students happens at Admissions in Smith Curtis.

Move-in day logistics
- Arrival window
- Wednesday, August 19, between 8:30 a.m. and noon. Students traveling more than 300 miles can check in early on Tuesday, August 18, from 2 to 5 p.m.
- Check-in location
- All new students check in at Admissions in Smith Curtis. Returning students check in separately at the Residential Education Office in Centennial Hall on August 21 or 22.
- What you'll receive
- Your student account must be paid in full or on an approved payment plan before you move in. Greek students help you unload and carry things to your room. Every room has a desk, desk chair, and twin bed frame, so bring extra-long sheets, pillows, a desk lamp, hangers, a power strip with a circuit breaker, a wastebasket, and a shower caddy. Only the Heim/White Suites, Townhouse Village, and apartments come with refrigerators. Air fryers, microwaves, toasters, hot plates, candles, and string lights are not allowed.
Move-in day tips
- Arrive during your assigned move-in window - arriving early may mean waiting until your time slot.
- Bring a rolling cart or hand truck - campus carts can run out quickly during busy move-in periods.
- Have a parking backup plan - spaces near residence halls can fill up quickly, so know where you can unload if your preferred area is full.
- Watch the loading-zone time limit - many campuses require you to move your vehicle to longer-term parking after unloading.
