Fall 2026 Move-In Details
Orientation will send your specific move-in schedule two weeks before you arrive - if you're participating in an early arrival program (such as an outdoor orientation trip), your arrival date may be different. All students will participate in New Student Orientation immediately following move-in. Look out for the Square Dance, a beloved orientation tradition held at Wilson Hall with live music.

Move-in day logistics
- Arrival window
- Wednesday, September 9, 2026, between 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. - Orientation sends your specific move-in schedule about two weeks before you arrive.
- What you'll receive
- Your housing assignment appears on the student portal shortly before you arrive. Rooms come with an extra-long twin bed and mattress, desk, chair, closet, and dresser - bring Twin XL linens, towels, and lamps.
Move-in day tips
- Arrive during your assigned move-in window - arriving early may mean waiting until your time slot.
- Bring a rolling cart or hand truck - campus carts can run out quickly during busy move-in periods.
- Have a parking backup plan - spaces near residence halls can fill up quickly, so know where you can unload if your preferred area is full.
- Watch the loading-zone time limit - many campuses require you to move your vehicle to longer-term parking after unloading.
