Fall 2026 Move-In Details
Move-in for students in Glades Park, Heritage Park, and Indian River Towers, and Parliament Hall, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. both days. Innovation Village and University Village apartment residents move in Aug. 21-22. If you don't yet have your Owl Card, you can pick one up at the Campus Recreation Center before proceeding with check-in. If you arrive after 5 p.m. on your move-in day, proceed directly to your residence hall to check in instead.

Move-in day logistics
- Arrival window
- Check in at the Campus Recreation Center during your assigned check-in time, then proceed to your assigned residence hall - upon arrival at the unloading zone, you'll have 30 minutes to unload, with someone remaining with the vehicle at all times.
- Check-in location
- All students check in at the Centralized Check-In (Campus Recreation Center) to pick up their room key before heading to their assigned residence hall.
- Parking
- Park in Lot 7, adjacent to the Campus Recreation Center, for check-in - once you've finished unloading at your residence hall, promptly relocate your vehicle to a designated parking area outside the unloading zone.
- What you'll receive
- Your room key and Owl Card at the Centralized Check-In - moving bins are also available for checkout inside your building with a valid photo ID, for up to 30 minutes at a time.
- Vehicle restrictions
- Do not remove any university furniture from your living unit; individual bedrooms are labeled with a letter, so move into your assigned bedroom as listed on your key envelope.
Move-in day tips
- Arrive during your assigned move-in window - arriving early may mean waiting until your time slot.
- Bring a rolling cart or hand truck - campus carts can run out quickly during busy move-in periods.
- Have a parking backup plan - spaces near residence halls can fill up quickly, so know where you can unload if your preferred area is full.
- Watch the loading-zone time limit - many campuses require you to move your vehicle to longer-term parking after unloading.
