Colorado College's Colorado Springs campus is anchored by Cutler Hall, its original 1877-1880 building once known simply as "the College" before being renamed twice, with all incoming first-year students housed in the "Big Three" traditional halls: El Diente, McGregor, and Montgomery, the latter built in 1891 as a women's residence.

Fall 2026 Move-In Details
Students in El Diente, McGregor, or Montgomery will pick up their key from Loomis Hall before continuing to their residence hall. NSO Check-In has moved to Robson Arena for 2026 (no longer on Tava Quad) - after checking in, proceed to your residence hall, which opens promptly at 8 a.m. Colorado College does not allow first-year students to have a car on campus. Immediately after unloading, move vehicles to free parking in the Robson Arena parking garage or on Cascade Avenue.

Move-in day logistics
- Arrival window
- Monday, August 17, 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Residence halls open promptly at 8 a.m.
- Check-in location
- Check in for New Student Orientation at Robson Arena (doors open 8:00 a.m.), then head to your residence hall. Designated unloading areas are at South Hall, Mathias Hall, and Loomis Hall; El Diente, McGregor, and Montgomery residents pick up keys at Loomis Hall.
- Parking
- Free parking is available in the Robson Arena Parking Garage (entered from Dale Street) and on Cascade Avenue. Accessible parking is in the Armstrong Hall lot. Unload first, then move your vehicle.
- What you'll receive
- You'll get your New Student Orientation nametag, your Colorado College ID (Gold Card), and your residence hall key. Immunization paperwork must be on file before you can access your hall.
- Vehicle restrictions
- First-year students may not keep a car on campus. Vehicles are for move-in day only and should be moved to parking right after unloading.
Move-in day tips
- Arrive during your assigned move-in window - arriving early may mean waiting until your time slot.
- Bring a rolling cart or hand truck - campus carts can run out quickly during busy move-in periods.
- Have a parking backup plan - spaces near residence halls can fill up quickly, so know where you can unload if your preferred area is full.
- Watch the loading-zone time limit - many campuses require you to move your vehicle to longer-term parking after unloading.
